Downton Abbey

So who's been in heaven watching Downton Abbey? I mean two weddings in one season could it get any better !... ok so one wedding was a bit of a non event...poor Edith.
But to be quite honest I was so absorbed by the gorgeous arrangements, I nearly missed the drama!!!!

So here's my Downton Abbey inspired piece.

I took a lot of direction from these amazing florists in New York, who run a gorgeous little flower school.  http://little-flower-school.blogspot.co.nz/.
Check them out, this is another link to one of the girls official sites such yummy work! http://www.saipua.com/
Their style really helped me get out of my tight posy head space!

The Roses I've used are Sweet Juliet, Jayne Austin, Pretty Jessica, Lilac Rose, Evelyn
& Charles Darwin

Autumn Posie

What a mission this was to make, the garden is suffering, but I wanted something to brighten up the house so I managed to scrap enough flowers together to make a cute little Autumn Posy!
Dahlia's, Echinacea, Ladies Mantle, Rose Hips, Billy Buttons, and Hydrangea
