Mary's White Wedding

Im so excited! I got to do my first wedding and I am so happy with how everything turned out. They looked so beautiful and the bride was very happy, which is the most important thing.
The colours for the wedding were white and chocolate, I was pretty much given creative freedom the only guidelines white flowers...easy!

Bridal Bouquet

The bridal bouquet was kept all white, really classic and beautiful.
Akito Roses, Stock, Freesias, Citrus flowers and white hebe.

 Bridesmaids

The bridesmaids bouquets were very cute, I wanted them to be a little different so I added the poppy seed heads in to add some interest, making them a bit more fun and less classic like the brides.

Pop Art Posy

Springs here!!! and my flowers that I planted back in Autumn are just starting to look there best, all my Anenomes and Fressias are out, my Ranunculas and Poppies are being a bit slow, but I finally have enough of everything to have a play!!

I've been out of town this week, and got to revisit my dear old friend Spotlight, who Ive missed a lot since moving back to Gisborne. So I went a little bit mad buying, Ribbons, Trims, buttons, anything really that I thought at the time could come in handy down the track.

So when I got home with my car load of goodies, I was very excited to get stuck into my next project. Awhile back I made some vases out of recycled tin cans, which I covered with pages from old comic books. Ive been waiting for my anemones and poppies to come out to use my comic book vases, I knew there bright colours would give a real Pop art feel, think Andy Warhole and Roy Lichtenstein.

Anemones, Freesias, Iceland Poppies, Forget-me-nots and Dusty Miller

Creamy Apricot Roses....

Creamy Apricot Roses and Nanna's Vintage Crystal...what could be better...
I saw these Roses whilst shopping after work and couldn't walk past them, they were just to sweet. I wanted to bring out the soft apricot tones by pairing them with lavender, cute little apricot and purple succulents, Viburnum, dusty miller and Euphorbia. I saw the Euphorbia on the side of the road while driving home and couldn't help myself, i always drive around with a pair of snips by my side.

Bouquet of Roses, Lavander, Euphorbia, Succulents, Viburnum and Dusty Miller. The stems are wrapped in cream lace

Table Arrangements
Cute little arrangements in mismatching Crystal dishes.

Sweet, Sweet, Sweet Camellias

My first attempt at a teardrop bouquet, which might I add I have never seen done, nor been shown how to do. I had seen a finished one at work, that my boss had made from orchids, but other than that I was in the dark. So be kind...

Camellias, Hellebores, Lichen, Erygium, Berzellia, Jasmine and wasp hive ( just to be a bit different)
