Sweet, Sweet, Sweet Camellias

My first attempt at a teardrop bouquet, which might I add I have never seen done, nor been shown how to do. I had seen a finished one at work, that my boss had made from orchids, but other than that I was in the dark. So be kind...

Camellias, Hellebores, Lichen, Erygium, Berzellia, Jasmine and wasp hive ( just to be a bit different)

Poppy seed heads & Aquilegia pods

Final Display

I studied floristry at Wintec in Hamilton. For our final display we were paired up and pretty much had creative freedom. Donna and I worked our butts off to create this beach themed celebration.

Beautiful Cream Roses, Succulents, Pieris, Dusty Miller, Berzelia, Vibernum berries weaved through twisted pieces of Driftwood.

Bold and Bright

I love Nasturtiums, they look truly edible when grouped together like this. I had them sitting in little glass jars along the table. A real simple idea that looks amazing.

Hamilton Rose Gardens

So I thought I'd start a blog, so that I might have a platform on which to show my work. I don't really know what I'd class my style as, its forever changing. But I guess at the moment I love cute tight posies. Arrangements that you look at and want to eat. The word Yummy is a true compliment.
